I'M PART OF THE Gryffindor/I] AND I'M A Pure Blood. ------------------------------------------------- Hometwon:London,England FAMILY:Father: Leif Frederick Eriksson, 56, Deputy Head of Norwegian Ministry of Magic MOTHER:Abigail Alyssa Drake, 54, stay home witch. Sister:Katrina Eriksson Sister:Heather Eriksson Brother:Hagar Eriksson Hair Color and Style: Yes, she's very much of a blonde from her hair. She loves keeping it open and usually her hair style lets out her mood. If she puts it up on a bun, it sure sign of irritation. Eye Color: Striking Green HEIGHT AND BODY TYPE: She stands for 5' 2" and has a slim body built. So yes, she's a bit shorter than the average, but doesn't seem to stop her . Marks: A result of a dare with her sisters, that consisted a knife. Style: Astrid likes all things shiny. She's exactly the girl who loves clothes and prides herself knowing how to dress well. Her wardrobe consists of all the new clothes. Even though in Hogwarts she has to wear the school uniform, but she likes to accessorize it with things like shoes or a cute little purse. Likes: ` her life ` expensive things ` the rain ` answers ` music ` singing ` autumn nights ` her family ` loyalty DISLIKES: ` noisy things ` flashy things ` tripping over air ` dishonesty ` being ignored ` spiders ` headaches ` traitors ` people calling her a dumb blonde Strengths: ` loyal ` honest ` happy ` good singer ` social Weakness: ` a bit too snobbish ` awfully clumsy ` tempered ` stubborn ` talks before thinking Patronus: ` a penguin BOGGART: 'spiders ERISED: she sees herself marriage and with a family Personality: COURAGEOUS Astrid is far from fearless; in fact, she is actually afraid of a lot of things. She is terrified of enclosed spaces, she is afraid of dying young, but she doesn't allow these fears to control her life. Bravery isn't something you are born into, brave is something you become. Loads of people are born into the world fearlessly; some people never shutter when alone in the dark, some men don't think twice when they see a gun, but Astrid was never given that gift. No, Astrid's stomach twists into knots when she is put on the spot, her breath gets quick when she is put in a closed space, but she puts on a brave face. She doesn't allow anyone to see the fear that she feels, and that in itself makes her courageous. Because being naturally 'brave' is not a feat, in fact it is no accomplishment at all, it is simply in your character. But when you push yourself, when you learn to master your emotions, is when you become a force to be reckoned with. Astrid refuses to allow herself to be the girl cowering in the corner, to the damsel in distress that some prince has to save. She wants to be able to save herself from a dragon, or better yet she wants to be able to protect others. This girl never wanted to the helpless princess in story books, she wanted to be the one fighting dragons; that is the way Astrid lives her life. She never allows anyone to take care of her, she takes care of herself. STUBBORN: Even as a child, Astrid was always told her head was too thick. She was the sort of child who could argue about anything, and the other person's opinion had no affect on her whatsoever; even after she had grown up, she remained the same stubborn girl. It wasn't that Astrid didn't have an open mind, but that when she was given information she made up her mind quickly on things. Once the this brown haired makes up her mind there is really no changing it. She has a tendency to put her whole heart into things, and she does so quite quickly. Astrid has never been the type you could sit down and reason with. Talking about the other side of things never really made much of a difference to Astrid, and neither did punishment. Her father really didn't have much of an idea how to mold Astrid into a proper young woman, mostly because they had no way of convicting her. If she acted out against her dad he would never feel sorry for what she did. Astrid believed in everything she did one hundred percent, and grounding her to her room never did anything but fuel her rebellion. Her father couldn't give her lectures to give her guilt trips, or send her to her room without dinner; trying to point Astrid in the other direction didn't do anything but make things worse. CLUMSY There is a reasonable reason as to why you almost never see Astrid wearing heels taller than one inch. It's simply because she will most likely fall flat on her face if she even tries to stand in them. Ever since the tender age of six, Astrid has been dropping things here and there, as well as tripping over air. There has rarely been a day in her life where she has been unable to simply walk around like a normal person and not make a fool of herself, though over the years her friends have come to accept the fact that handing something to Astrid because they need someone to hold it is the worst idea you can get, as most likely, even though she would stand perfectly still and holding the box, it will find a way to drop out of her hands and crash to the floor. This obnoxious trait of hers becomes even more evident when she is nervous, wether it be for an exam or because of the person she is talking to. LOYAL: Another quality that goes along quite well with her stubbornness is her loyalty. In fact, they actually go along hand in hand. Like Astrid opinions, her ideas go along in the same light. Once she makes up her mind about someone she doesn't turn her back on them. When you are a friend of Astrid you are a friend for life. Unlike most young girls, she has never one to flip through best friends. She remembered growing up everyone had best friends of the week. They would hop along from companion to companion, ditching each person for the next best thing; Astrid had never been like that, even when she was little. Even with objects, she was always quite attached. Her sister still kept the same teddy bear she had as an infant when she was eleven years old; despite her father's attempts to get rid of the bear, Astrid refused to let it go. It was tattered, torn, and useless, but she wasn't going to abandon it, just like she would never abandon her friends. It didn't matter if her friends were in the best of days or their worst, she wouldn't desert them for the world. If the entire world was against them, she would be the only one at their side. Threats and danger were also things that did not get in the way of her loyalty. Secrets told to Astrid were nothing more than secrets. She would never utter a word of someone's personal business. It didn't matter if she was being tortured, she would never betray a friend. COMPASSIONATE: Astrid is a very sweet girl and she has never wished harm upon anybody. As well, she finds it easy to sympathize with those who have encountered struggle because she, too, has been faced with disheartening situations. Astrid tends to come off as a bit of a mother duck when it comes to attempting to cheer someone up. She's always very eager to help and to do anything to alleviate the suffering in any way she can. Her heart always goes out to those who are stricken by sorrow. PRANKSTER: Even as a child, she was the one who would come up with the pranks and was the one who encouraged others to do things. So it wasn't really surprise why her parents had hands full with her. If Astrid didn't like you or she just found you annoying, you can be sure that Astrid will target you for her next prank. There was nothing that would stop her for doing what she did. Being wild was her one trait she was actually proud of. She has a reputation of being both a bit cruel when it comes pranking she can be very nasty. Even though she might seem very sweet at first, she has a rather twisted mind that everyone should be afraid of. Well, not everyone, but you have been warned. TEMPERED: You can say it's because of her Scandinavian ancestry. But she calls it her bad habit. Astrid has a short temper and fiery one of them. She can flare up almost to anything. Specially if you tell her what to do. She doesn't tolerate people bossing her around or people ignoring her. She needs attention and if she doesn't get it, she'll start throwing things, banging doors or just start screaming. This bad trait was on its peak, when Astrid was a child. She was the brat, so to speak. She only ate what she wanted. Rules were just guidelines. And above all, she wanted things to go her way. As she grew up, she did calm down. But just a bit. Pets: a white owl named Fred. Wealth Status: very, very rich History: Leif Frederick Eriksson met Abigail Alyssa Drake, one cold night in Hogsmeade. Leif and Abigail both came from well-know full-blood family, they remain together throughout their years at Hogwarts and after they graduating; they said their vows and married. The Drake family owned chain of magical supply stores that were passed down through the generations to keep the business always in the family. It was an ideal marriage between two full-blooded families; it assured that there would not be generation of half-blood in the family lines. But before the marriage could be official, the patriarch of each family had to approve the marriage and give its approval. There could not be marriage if the patriarchs did not approve, the family patriarchs did not want blood mixing because keep family line pure was important. One of the provisions, that the patriarch of Abigails put on the marriage was that the family kids would be educated at Hogwarts and year before being entering Hogwarts, the kids had to live with their grandparents for a year in England. After graduating from Hogwarts, the young couple lived for a year in an Estate outside of London before moving to Oslo, Norway where Leif had gotten job with the magical government. Astrid was youngest of three sisters; she was born in a frigid arctic night in April. Just like her older sisters, Astrid was a beautiful child. She grew up surrounded by a loving family and his father spoiled his daughters. Though the birth of their brother, Hagar was a surprise. Specially to the little girl, who had just figured out she was the youngest and was the ultimate daddy's girl. Hagar was a lively and so was Astrid. She couldn't admit it to anyone that she was jealous of her little brother who seemed to get all the attention. Even though to Astrid, all that attention belonged to her. The children grew up. Astrid grew up under the watch of her father. Astrid learnt that she was the one who had to look after her little brother when her sisters went off to Hogwarts. At the time when her two sisters moved to England, she really had no idea that her sisters wouldn't come back to Oslo, not until they would graduate. So, the agreement was fulfilled when Astrid herself turned 11. It was hard thing to take when her parents told her she had to move with her grandparents. She had never seen them before and only received birthdays cards from them. So, leaving her home was hard. The year before Hogwarts was a bit harder than Astrid had imagined. She rebelled and wouldn't come out from her room for days just because she missed home. Astrid started Hogwarts just like many other kids her age. She was a bright blonde little girl, who at first didn't get along with a lot of people. Being sorted into Gryffindor was something that her father pride, but Astrid knew that both of her sisters were also sorted into the very same house so it didn't really mean much to her. Her first years were quiet. She made couple friends, but nothing too much. Of course Astrid had her sisters, but them being older, graduated when Astrid was on her third year. Summers, Astrid would spend with her grandparents. Year by year she got use to them better and learned to love them. Astrid does see them a bit uptight, but she doesn't notice that she is the exact copy of her grandparents. Specially her grandfather. Even though Astrid missed her family back home, she was settling pretty well with her grandparents. Hogwarts was her second or actually her third home and she loved being there. But her fathers pressure of graduating became more evident on her fifth year. So now, she's expected to graduate with high colors even though she's still a year away from her graduation. |
