That was hardly an understatement. Not only had Frank been dating a girl by the name of Grace, for a short period of time. He had felt obligated to like her from the start, it didn’t mean that he didn’t like her in say a friend way, just didn’t have that same I love you feelings that he had felt before in one or two of his previous relationships. Frank felt bad that he had realized this long after he had started to date her. Not that he regretted giving her a shot, he just hoped that at some point that he could fall in love with her, that maybe it could work out for the both of them that Frank could have feelings for a girl and that he didn’t have to hide the truth from her. All in all Frank had only seen Grace as a friend and there was no way that he could continue to pretend to be her boyfriend or try and make her think that he loved her, Frank didn’t want to make Grace hate him and most certainly didn’t want her to think so poorly of him that in the end that they couldn’t be friends. That is, that is what he wanted her to think before he did the initial break up. Sure Frank wasn’t suave and certainly wasn’t that great at making hard decisions. He especially sucked at trying to do something that he knew was going to hurt someone. Frank was worst than a deer in the headlights, he would panic something that Frank was great at doing is most if not all emotional or tough topics. He could do a world of good with spells and dueling, but when it came to women and emotions it was like Frank was helpless, unable to do anything that didn’t make things more of a mess or he lingered in the mess for so long that he couldn’t get himself out safely. In this case he had only gotten half way deep in the mess that he had created with Grace; the most that he had done was kiss the girl and claim to be her boyfriend before he snapped to his senses. The worst thing that he had done was of course breaking up with her by an owl; yes one of the worst thing s that a boy could do to a girl was send her your pet owl to do your dirty business. Frank hadn’t meant for it to be such a callas if not a poor excuse for a man move. He felt horrible for the ways that he had ended it, but he had much bigger fish to fry. When he said fish to fry, he had more pressing matters. Not that he didn’t feel bad that he dumped a girl that he cared about, it was just that he had taken a realization that he was in love with another. Yes he was in love with another girl, even while he was supposed to be in a relationship. He was in fact a very bad boy. Though he had to tell everyone when he spoke of the matter that it wasn’t completely intentional, it wasn’t like he was the type that went around breaking hearts. He was in love with his very best friend and he didn’t know a way to fix anything anymore. They had already kissed once, completely by accident, at least the first time, the second time; she had instigated it shortly before leaving him to his crazy if not spastic thoughts. Did she actually like him? Or was it just a crazy way to make him stop feeling guilty for himself, especially seeing as she was still dating Sirius. She had claimed that she liked someone else, could it possibly be him? There was only one thing for Frank to do, it was Saturday and they were free to go wherever they pleased, today Frank sauntered out of the boys dorm, quickly dashed through the common room hoping to avoid Alice if she was there and he made his way to the Three Broomsticks to talk to a person who was far better at this sort of thing that Frank ever could be. Carefully he pushed his way to a free bar space in front of where Rosie hopefully would be. His face looked completely defeated as he sighed not seeing her there. With no caution to his own head, he placed his elbows onto the counter and slammed his head right onto the wood with a sigh. ”What the hell am I going to do!” he snapped to no one, hoping that the person who had the seat next to him wasn’t going to think he was crazy. tagged : ROSIE muse : boys like girls word count : 801 template : by me! |
