Werewolves - Common knowledge of werewolves is the change every full moon, which occurs once a month, this change is painful [Wolfsbane has not been invented yet by Damocles Belby]. Werewolves aren't born, they are made when a human is attacked by a werewolf while in their wolf form. Their main form, they stand upright, their a thin coat of hair on their bodies, their face resembles a wolf, with long pointed ears and a slender snout. While a werewolf is not in its wolf form, they are harmless, though as the full moon nears they grow sickly, Hogwarts Staff have permitted those effected have the day of the Full Moon off as well as the next to recuperate. While in their wolf form they are incapable of controlling their actions and are to go to the Forbidden Forest during their transformations to keep the student population protected.
Vampires - These are immortal, they live for ever, unless killed by natural means. Though they age more gradually than mortals. In order to sustain their heightened abilities they must drink blood, though they have been permitted by St. Mungos to obtain blood from their banks this blood is generally seen as stale, and most Vampires will 'hunt' for their own meals. They are capable of locking eyes with a victim and lure them into a trap, draining the victim of a good quantity of their blood, leaving them unconscious. They have a sensitivity to sunlight, but only after prolonged exposure to the sun, it will begin to burn. In order to become a vampire they have to drain their victim completely of their blood.
Veela- Veela's are unnaturally beautiful, luring in most with their beauty. There are male and female veela's. They're graceful and protective. The only abilities that they have, is when vexed their faces become distorted looking like a bird and they are able to throw fire. There is not a way for a Veela to change another. They are capable of mating with humans, and create half-blooded children.
Note : to have your character become a vampire or werewolf after creating them, you must ask permission of the staff.
