Fabian stood in the gardens. Dusk was falling and the sun was setting the hills on fire as it set. He rocked on the balls of his feet and then back onto his heels, repeating this pattern several times. He whistled to himself and it pierced the slightly chilly night air. He then commenced checking his dark blue robes (which complimented his bright red hair) for any loose hairs or ‘fuzzies’ that would distract from him. He felt a fluttering stomach in his stomach that could only be described as nervousness. But Fabian was never nervous! He was Fabian Phoebus Prewett after all! He was amazing!
But then again, he had never been set up on a blind date by his twin brother. He had never met this girl, but he was sure he had seen her around. It was almost impossible not to see everyone at some point or another in Hogwarts. It was a small school after all. And this girl was a year younger than him, something that had almost broken the deal when Gideon first introduced it. Fabian did not do well with younger people, even though it was not that long ago.
Fabian stood in the garden as night began to fall, feeling uncomfortable, out of place, and totally not himself. Maybe he was coming down with something, but no, Fabian never got sick. He was getting a headache. Felt like a vision coming on. Please tell him it was not going to be one of those nights, where he had vision after vision… Those nights were the worst. They made him sick to his stomach and he was usually confined to bed for the entire next day to recover from the assault on his senses. Fabian let his body sink onto a stone bench not far from his current position.
He cradled his head in his hands and rubbed his temples, his elbows resting on his knees. He practiced his breathing exercises and hoped that if a vision did come, he would not collapse on the ground and soil himself or anything too embarrassing. But being a seer, it was the best to hope for. Anything could happen when you were not aware of your body and the things around you. And what if she freaked out? Hopefully Gideon warned her… But that would be expecting too much, would it not?
‘Yeah, would you like to go to the dance with my twin? He’s nice and all, he just has random, useless visions. Don’t be alarmed!’ Fabian snorted at this thought. Yeah, like that would happen. Fabian sighed and let his head tilt back to look at the developing stars. Where was she? He was early, but not that early! Fabian thought about checking the banged up pocket watch, but decided against it. He did not want to seem desperate!

Cece sighed as she finished putting on a long, gorgeous black dress. She was excited for the ball but she was also nervous. She never felt nervous before in her life. She always tried to be confident and happy. She stared at her blond hair as she tried to decide what to do with her hair. Should she live it down or put it up. She didn't know what to do. She ran her fingers through her soft, blond hair as she stood up. Perhaps I'll just leave it down, she thought. She slipped into her silver high heels and off she went. She climbed out of the Ravenclaw common room toward the gardens. She could see the sun setting the distance. She knew that she was going to be late if she didn't hurry over.
Cece didn't know why her friends set her up on a blind date. She never been on a blind date before in her life. Was this guy going to be mean or depressed? She hate depressed guys. Her friends told her that the guy was cute. Cece probably saw him around Hogwarts but she doesn't remember every face that she ran into. Hogwarts might be a small school but there was a lot of students at Hogwarts. There was a lot of students in each year. Cece felt nervous as she walked closer toward the garden. She hoped there will be drinks. Her throat began to felt dry from being too nervous. Her heart would beat faster and harder as she thought about the blind date. Just don't think about it. She took a deep breath as she stopped to watch the sun finish setting.
Cece felt the cold windy air as the sun warmth had faded away. She needed to get to the garden a bit faster now. She was running late! She never been late to anything before. Why was this so different? All she was going on was a blind date but she felt something in the pit of her stomach. What if this guy stood her up? She knew the only way to find out was to show up. If he was there, she doesn't want to be the one who stood up the poor guy. She stopped at the entrance of the garden. She glanced around to see if she saw a guy just waiting around. She saw a ginger boy sitting on a bench alone. "Hello. Are you Fabian?" she asked while she approached him. "I'm supposed to be meeting a guy here name Fabian," she explained.
