theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: OPEN WORDS: 603 ONE LAST THING: OH MY WHO WILL DARE APPROACH HIM?
Rodolphus rolled over in his dorm bed and groaned, oh Merlin why had he had so much firewhiskey the night before? Oh yeah that's right! Because they were having fun and a good party every now and then was really something to be appreciated. He didn't after all want to sit around and be all boring all the time. Oh sure there were things to be studied, things in books he had bought in Knockturne Alley but that was something that could wait, right now he was waiting for the room to stop spinning so he could get up and get a shower. Slowly he rose to his feet, of yeah he was graceful, it was something that came rather naturally for him with the fact that he simply felt very confident and it showed. He walked over to the bathroom and entered the shower, quickly rinsing off both the smoke and the sweat from the night before. It had started as a party and ended in a rather intense practice of spells. Oh yeah it wasn't the first time this happened but lately he'd had to be careful, after all he wouldn't want to be expelled now would he, that would just ruin everything.
No he had to stay here and finish his seventh year at Hogwarts. Oh how he was looking forward to moving on from here despite the friends he'd made through the years from his housemates. Oh yeah he had friends, strangely enough, because Rodolphus Lestrange was definitely not a pleasant being. He was in fact incredibly mean and yes he dabbled in the darker sides of magic. He stepped out of the shower, a small smile on his face and put on his favorite pair of black Jeans, a dark colored shirt and his leather jacket. Yeah it was his usual attire but you know he had to be recognized right? Not that most of the school wouldn't know who he was even if he put on a pink pajamas with red hearts and bunny slippers, but he would never sink to the level of doing such a thing. Oh no, that was far beneath him. He would stick with his rather hot looking outfit.
He ran his fingers through his hair, making sure that the gel he'd put in his hand was divided evenly in his hair before he shaped it the way he wanted it, spiked up was a way he preferred to any other look. Finally he was ready to leave the bathroom, he'd probably spent as much time in there as a lot of girls did but he had never given that much thought. He headed down to the commonroom, bringing one of said Knockturn Alley books, but Merlin he just really couldn't get himself to focus on reading he was so bored. He twirled his wand between his fingers, a first year staring nervously at him. Oh yeah a bored Rodolphus was something people had come to realize wasn't something you wanted to be near, yet people didn't always have a choice of course. He looked around trying to find something to do, but failed to find it and simply stretched out on the couch once more trying to read his book. Maybe he should go out and see if he could find someone to torture?

words // 503 // outfit // clicky // tagged // Rodolphus boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A The body of the female everyone seemed to avoid groaned, and cricked her neck, it was a painful from the lack of comfort she had spent most of the night seeking. Well part of the night she had been drinking with the Imperium, but that was just natural for her, she was in her seventh year, and they knew how to party. Of course she went to bed early because she's feeling all to great. She rolled out of bed, dropping to the floor, landed on her hands and knees somewhat like a cat before she pushed herself up and stretched. Being the first one awake meant the first one in the shower. god sweet heavens I love you. She chuckled as she climbed into the cubical and took her sweet ass time under that hot water. She combed out her hair and tied it up so it wouldn't become a bother whilst it was drying before she slipped on her denim shorts and a random black shirt that she could find.
She was in her last year at Hogwarts, and she would be glad to get herself out of the dirty building filled with mudbloods and half-breeds. She had been born into the most ancient and noble house of black, a house that had been strong in believing in purism. Tainted blood was like filth to her family, well despite her cousin, and her little sister, but Bellatrix wasn't going to think about that, oh no she was not. They disgusted her, and she would not spend any moment of her life looking at that part of her blood line. There was always bad apples in every blood line, tainted beasts that had to go... six had already been wiped off the Black family tree, including her cousin Sirius black. Filthy muggle loving punk he was, running away, breaking his mothers heart... then he goes to live with the potters! Ugh the boy made her skin crawl. She shook her head as she slowly descended down the stairs towards the common room. There was no point thinking about her cousin, no point at all.
The familiar body, and clothes lay on the sofa reading that book, that seemed to always be in his hand made Bellatrix grin. She dropped herself into the chair opposite and raised her brow as she watched him silently. The kid in the corner seemed to be scared out of his wits so much so that he dropped his glass and left the area. She shrugged as she turned back to watch him, a small cough leaving her lips. ”Rodolphus, kids can't be scared of you all the time. Plus you just woke up and you look like you've been smacked with a jack hammer.” She smirked as she greeted him with her amazingly subtle and honest morning insult. Of course if she was any other person she would be dying right now, but she was someone who loved to take risks, and especially with this handsome boy. notes // god she's an idiot. |

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: BELLATRIX WORDS: 536 ONE LAST THING: THESE TWO xD
Rodolphus was lost in thought and had forgotten all about the first year sitting petrified in the corner. In fact he hadn't really paid the kid more than a split second of thought in the first place. Why would he be bothered by a first year? Especially one that seemed to be made of absolute and utter weakness. No that wasn't someone he would mingle with even if he was a seventh year. Oh no Rodolphus would not lower himself down to mess with such. He was right now reading up on rather nasty curses to cause bodily harm, a particularly nasty one meant to skin animals which he figured he could happily adapt to humans should he want to. Oh and there was that one which would make your skin feel on fire until you literally skinned yourself out of desperation. Oh yes this book certainly held a lot of nasty stuff. Things which Rodolphus read and looked forward to trying on someone at some point. Oh yes, quite interesting that.
He heard the glass shatter and then the very distinctive cough of one Bellatrix Black. He'd recognize that anywhere. Oh and then of course she gave herself away more by speaking. To think anyone would be brave enough to talk to him that way. Well of all the people on this plant Bellatrix was probably the only one who could ever get away with it unharmed. The usually so dangerous and cold guy was different with her, though on the outside it seemed he wasn't so much so, he knew she could tell the difference if not for any other reason than the fact that he hadn't hexed her yet. "What did I do now? I was only reading, am I not allowed to read now?" seems to have a cold and slightly amused look on his face. "I guess small brats like that need to realize what a real Slytherin looks and behaves like? It's about time don't you think?" another cruel grin crossed his face.
He chuckled a slightly less cold chuckle as she mentioned that he looked like shit. "I blame those damn firewhiskey bottles and the fact that I spent most of the night discussing spells with Amycus. There's some quite delightfully nasty ones in here" points at the page he'd been reading with the skinning curse. "Wouldn't that just be delightful to use on someone deserving?" chuckles again and yawns a little. "If me looking like I've been hit by a jack hammer means that we get some more wicked spells then I'm alright with that." The boy sat up enough to make room for her on the couch in order to show her the book a little better. "I managed to talk my way into buying this book, the owner didn't want to sell it, but we both know I can be rather insistant when I want to be"

words // 519 // outfit // clicky // tagged // Rodolphus boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A Eleven year olds scare easily, that was something she had learned even in her first year, she remembered when she would sit in the slytherin common room glaring at people across the room, and they'd jump and run away. Of course Bellatrix running around the school with students that could be considered the worst students to come across the common room. The worst she did was scare a slytherin from sitting in the common room once. Though she had gotten over that fear after a while, of course once Bella had told her a down right lie, but now-a days she was too busy with her reading up on spells, and Rodolphus and basically just being who she was to care about the younger generation of Slytherin's, unless it was of course, Narcissa her little sister.
The glass smashing made a din inside her head, a small frown crevice her brow as she glared in the direction the child ran in. To think she of all people was only brave enough to insult him in anyway . Of course she never meant it to sound rather awful towards him, she cared for him deeply, and even if she had to thaw at his steel heart for him to admit it, she knew he was the same. He was someone who kept a cold hard stare even when saying the sweetest of things, though he would of never said anything sweet, and nor would he look like he was anyway. She chuckled at his comment as she raised her brow. ”would help if you didn't wiggle your wand around when you was trying to focus.” A smirk rose on her lips as she blinked once or twice, it was something she tended to do when she was around people, she blinked a hell of a lot as if something was in her eye. ”They won't learn if you scare them away, Rodolphus”
She raised her eyebrow as he collectively told her about the night before, of course she had been awake with him, but before any of the spell sharing went down she had gone to bed due to feeling like crap. She smiled a genuine, seductive kind of smile, the only smile you would ever see upon her pale face. Moving next to him as he moved up she stared at the page with a greedy sense of wanting, her brown orbs scanning the page for the incantation in which he must have been hiding, of course he wouldn't want her to be finding the incantation, she had a slight tendency to become insane in the wrath of new spells. ”Mhmm... Amycus seems to not want you around me lately, always snatches you up for a conversation about spells, even when I want you.” A small pout formed on her lips as she said her last words, it was always like this with Bella, she's say things and act like she really really meant them, but really she just wanted conversation most of the time. Unless it was Rodolphus she was dealing with, then she really did mean them. notes // god she's an idiot. |

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: BELLATRIX WORDS: 623 ONE LAST THING: THESE TWO xD
He heard the glass break just as clearly as she did, it made him feel like those pieces of glass were embedding themselves into his brain. Damn this hangover was a mean one. Normally it would have earn the first year some sort of curse, but he was just too tired to care right then. A frown spread on his otherwise completely smooth features until the sensation the shattering glass had cause passed. The frown was quickly enough followed by another ice cold chuckle. "Now the wand thing doesn't hurt anyone, not like I'm going to suddenly cast a hex or anything... or well that's a lit I just might actually." another laugh followed that statement. But clearly if he runs away simply from the two of us being in the same room then he is definitely not ready to handle the true world of Slytherins. Because anyone who was wouldn't be running around like some scare little chicken."
Oh yes, Rodolphus was definitely harsh. He had never been known to be very gentle, even as a child he'd started developing tendencies of which he now had honed and perfected into something very much dangerous. However a smile did grace his lip, even though it was indeed a dangerous looking smile, when Bellatrix decided to take the seat he was offering her on the couch, and then immediately lean over the page. This was of course part of his plan as he casually draped his arm around her shoulders. Oh so maybe he wasn't a very warm person, but believe it or not even someone with an ice heart like his had his weaknesses. One of his happened to be Bellatrix, who he had given up hope of a few years prior, but who to his surprised had turned out to now be the one seeking him out instead. He should probably be playing hard to get, but he didn't have time for such games. If he didn't have time for her it was simply because he had other things he deemed to be of serious importance to deal with. Like learning more dark arts spells, and preparing in all ways he could for the future. A future including much more than the soft and fuzzy magic this old filthy and diverse school offered.
"I've explained this before Bella, learning these spells are of importance. And besides, Amycus and myself have decided it is time we allow you to read this book, but you have to promise me you won't go around using them on people around here. We don't want that kind of attention, no matter how fun doing that may seem" he said and yes there was a hint of warm amusement in his tone. Bella's way of getting overly excited about dark arts spells was one of the things he truly did love about her. She was as cold and calculating as he. Sure people thought her crazy, but he knew for a fact that beneath that seemingly a little batty appearance there was also a very smart and manipulating brain. "look, I'll see if I can get away a bit earlier tonight, how does that sound?" Yes, he was trying to please her. Rodolphus trying to please someone other than himself, what was happening to the world? Who would have ever thought it would ever come to this.

words // 543 // outfit // clicky // tagged // Rodolphus boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A She raised her eyebrow as he let the first year get away, a tut would of left her lips but she was way to comforting towards only one person, and that was him, and thus he looked like even a small tut would of hurt his brain. Her lips smoothed into a thin line as she shook her head a cold mutinous laugh following his own. ”exactly, it was a lie, and with the way you go around hexing people I'm not surprised people are scared” The smooth line you would call pursed lips broke into a smile once more. ”And we're not exactly the best two people one could know, are we? I'm not surprised he ran”
Harsh was a word you could call Rodolphus, he wasn't someone who could open up easily, and he had never been the one to be gentle, but that small dangerous smile that always appeared on his lips when he got his way, it kind of made Bella's insides do a funny flip, it would send her crazy. Being busy peering over the book helped her miss that small little sensation, but she didn't hesitate to lean into him once his arm was around her. Weaknesses were fickle friends, she knew she had them but she never let people see them, Rodolphus was one of them, whenever she was around him she changed from her slightly deranged, bat shit crazy self to a slightly less insane version of that, she became almost soppy, though it was thankful that she only ever acted like this when it was just them two alone. The two of them had known each other since they were young, and formally Rodolphus had been trying to get Bella, but Bella being Bella had shot him down, but since he had become wanted by other females, Bella had moved in and taken him for her own. Of course only she would consider herself like an eagle searching and snatching up it's prey. She knew that he wasn't playing games with her, and it was the reason she never really asked about things.
She frowned as he some what scolded her, she knew what he meant, and she wasn't one to complain. As he told her the promise she was to make she blinked and nodded slightly, yet her bulging eyes told anyone differently. She couldn't help herself sometimes, she just had to do things that meant she was in control, and spells that were sorted in to the dark arts category. She tended to let excitement control her, and she would let herself get carried away, thus was why he was going to force her to promise not to practice the spells that happened to be in the book that her black painted talons were driving themselves into. ”I promise.” It was a whisper, that he could of heard even if he was on the other side of the room. She was pleased with the outcome of her morning, she had only just woke up and two promises had been made already. ”I don't like to be kept waiting.” Although her voice was restrained with a serious tone, her smile obviously meant she was amused. notes // Wow she's got some claws |

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: BELLATRIX WORDS: 652 ONE LAST THING: Aww Hungover Rodolphus is hungover He closed his eyes and nodded briefly as she stated the fact that they probably weren't the two most comfortable to be stuck in a room alone with. She was right of course, they had a bit of a reputation not to be very forgiving, in fact they probably had a bit of a reputation to be rather dangerous and unstable. Today was really a day you wouldn't want to mess with Rodolphus, he seriously had the worst hangover he'd ever had, and he found himself surprised that he hadn't ended up giving an offering to the porcelain god yet this morning. He leaned back and watched her with the book. She seemed to really enjoy having been granted the right to borrow it. He was glad he'd decided she could and even more so when she did indeed agree to not use any of the spells, at least not anywhere she might get caught doing so. It wasn't a secret that Bella tended to get herself a little overly excited and then forget what was smart and what wasn't.
He sighed a little and nodded. "I won't keep you waiting I promise. I'll keep you company tonight, after I've had a little bit of a chat with the others. I need to discuss some of the spells with them. I'm sure, since you already have taken a look, you'll be able to join in on that conversation if you want" he said and then let out a soft groan, he really just wasn't feeling very good this morning. He kept his eyes closed and just stayed quiet for a moment. Oh how he'd wanted for Bella to be his through the years. He couldn't and likely wouldn't fully express how much he truly was happy that they'd finally gotten to this point. Feelings beyond hate and coldheartedness wasn't really his stronger side. Sure he showed a little bit more of it with her, but he really wasn't too great at it even then. His best way of showing how much he cared was when they were alone together, preferably in a bed, but any flat surface would do, no wait, any surface would do. He let out a soft chuckle at the thought and then turned his attention back to her.
"So did you have any specific activities in mind for today?" he asked, frankly he really hoped she didn't, because he wasn't entirely sure if moving around at this point would be a very good idea, at least not until the worst of this hangover lifted off of him. He knew he looked like shit, but he also knew he felt worse than he looked. Rodolphus would never show the true extent of his weaknesses. And today was no different, sure Bella could tell he wasn't feeling well, but she'd known him for forever, and it was likely that anyone else would have barely seen a hint of the effects this hangover was having on him. If they'd even see that. He was definitely not a very easy book to read most of the time. There was only one person who truly got under his skin and that was Sirius Black. If it was up to him he would have put that guy out of his misery already, but it wasn't up to him, it was a matter of the Black family, though none of them truly seemed to be about to take any serious measures. He shook the thought out of his mind and just leaned in a little closer to Bellatrix.

words // 512 // outfit // clicky // tagged // Rodolphus boy with a coin, T H E N M A K I N G A W I S H , A N D T O S S E D I N T H E S E A Of course anyone who knew either of the two slytherin's they'd know just how bad their reputation was, and today of all day's Rodolphus looked rather dangerous, more dangerous then usual, of course to any other person that would be something used as a tell that he wasn't someone to reckon with, at all, but being Bellatrix Black she made it her personal tell that she got the boy alone for at least one day. This generally shouldn't of meant she was happy, or smiling or even feeling simply joyful about his pain, because even though his face was a hard exterior that never changed she could tell he wasn't in his element. The book that she held in her hand felt like a trophy she had finally been able to claim as her own, it's crinkled pages, and rough hardback exterior rubbed against her hand as she flipped the book open, the malicious grin on her face growing.
She pouted at the fact that she would have to wait until they had done talking about spells to spend her time with him, but she still felt overly excited at the prospect of having the chance to talk spells at all. Amycus was a brilliant man, and was excellent at the dark arts, she had seen them being preformed and had been delighted at the sight. ”I sure hope this 'little' talk is very small, because... I really don't think I’d last the whole talk.” She chuckled as she slowly placed the book in Rodolphus' lap. Her eyebrow raised, as she executed a whole lot more of control then she’s used to. She tilted her head, as he groaned a frown appearing on her lips, she more than wanted to help him, but she knew that wouldn't allowed in their certain surrounding, people could see. ”if you massage, or let me massage your temples, your headache would feel much better.” Either one of them weren't exactly good with feelings, and even if they were they wouldn't exactly let it show, she noticed the only time Rodolphus was actually tender and caring was when they were against a flat any surface, minus the clothes. His chuckle woke her up out of her daydream, which made her turn to him with a raised eyebrow.
To be honest, she didn't ever have any plans, ever. Really most of her time was spontaneous and rather haphazard, which usually ended in her messing around with mud bloods and first years with the occasional gryffindor. She gave it some thought before shaking her head, and just leaning her head on his shoulder. ”None at all, but when do I ever?” She let a small smirk rise on her lips as she sighed slightly. Although she would love to go mess with a small group of first years, she knew he wasn't exactly in the greatest shape for moving at all, and thus she deicded she'd rather sit here and keep him company. It wasn't much, but she wanted to give him at least something to do all day. notes // Bah I love her, and I'm sorry it took for ever to complete this post!. |

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: JUNO AND HER BELLATRIX WORDS: 804 ONE LAST THING: HE HAS THE WORST HANGOVER!
To say he was feeling like shit was the understatement of the year, why the hell had he decided to drink this much the night before. Oh yeah that was right he hadn't, he had just managed to get to the point where he didn't seem to realize how much he had been drinking. It tended to happen a lot when his group of friends decided to go drinking, it was maybe a way for them to relax and let go of some of the more strict and expected behavior patterns of someone of their status of their family lines. Oh yes being pureblood and in the purist kind of circles had their requirements. Certain etiquette was expected and behaving out of line or childish was something you were expected to have shaken long before your seventh year at Hogwarts. That did by no means mean that others like himself didn't need or want some time to relax and act maybe a little bit childish, alcohol was a great way of incorporating that. Alcohol was known as a great excuse to act childish, take your frustrations out on other people or simply have a great time with your friends and chat about random topics. Oh yeah the drinking sessions was something he loved but he also hated it the day after.
Smiling he looked at her as she said she wouldn't make it through a long conversation between him and Amycus. Of course she wouldn't, some of those made it to the early hours of the morning, but he didn't want to have that happen this time, he wanted to spend some more time with Bellatrix. After all she was the girl he had loved for years, and she was finally showing him some interest. He couldn't be happier about that even though he might not show it too often. He was after all known for being made of stone. He more or less always had a dangerous look on his face that was about as far from inviting as it could get. But Bella seemed not to be worrying too much about it, and she was one of very few who could actually see through his hard exterior and into the more expressive part of him. The part that he generally tended to keep hidden with the exception of a few chosen moments. Moments of extreme emotion that simply needed to be expressed somehow. Even then though most of his expressions were subdued and often somewhat clumsy. Emotions were not his strong side. "Don't worry Bella, I'll make sure to keep the chat short for tonight. I promised you I'd spend time with you and that's exactly what I plan on doing. I don't want to disappoint you and so I will do my best to keep it short. That much I can promise you right now, if it becomes too long I'll cut it short and we'll continue it tomorrow. Does that sound alright to you?" he said softly, his voice not betraying how shitty he felt.
He let out another soft groan unable to keep it back as his hands traveled up to his temples to keep his headache at bay, but honestly the movement just made him nauseous and so he let his hands drop back down again, closing his eyes as he did so. Damn no first years better pop up at this point and pester them or they would most certainly find themselves hexed worse than they'd ever have expected possible. Damn he wasn't going to be able to move anywhere any time within the next few hours that was for sure, at least not unless it was to go get some greasy unhealthy food from the kitchens. However he wasn't feeling very hungry right now and all he wanted to do was sit there in peace and chat with Bella. It was comfortable enough and Bella seemed to have picked up on the fact that he really wasn't in the mood for anything louder than a relaxing conversation just now. "No that's true, you always were a bit spontaneous huh? Well I don't have any plans either, I just plan on lounging around here for a good old while yet. I'm just not really in the mood to be moving about too much you know?" This was of course his way of saying he didn't feel good enough to go anywhere and also his way of inviting her to stay and chat.
